This week our sixth form mathematicians pitted their wits against some challenging maths problems in the final heat of the House Maths competition. Eleven teams competed across the Houses.
They demonstrated great resolve and teamwork as they sought solutions in each round.
Curie Fry narrowly won over Austin Bartlett by a margin of one point.
The remaining places were:
3rd – Nightingale
4th – Inglis
5th – Cavell
6th – Garrett Anderson.
Well done to all of the girls who took part
Curie Fry were also crowned the overall winner of 2022 House Maths Competition.
The sixth form competition this week was the final instalment of several weeks of competition across the year groups.
Thank you to our Senior Maths Prefect, Amelie, who took the lead in organising the event and thanks also to all the Year 11, 12 and 13 students who helped to facilitate each week.
It was so lovely to see the maths corridor come alive with the buzz of House maths.
Huge congratulations to all our year group winners and well done to everyone who took part.
The final results were:
1st – Curie Fry
